Massage Therapy, what to expect:
Any new modalities that we offer are all included in our prices. We don't charge extra for things like essential oils, hot towels, or cupping therapy. At our clinic, we follow your lead. More or less pressure? Chatting or a silent massage? This is your treatment and we want you to get the most out of it! This includes keeping track of your treatment goals. What areas we have been working on, what areas you don't want work on. Altering the treatment to your needs is how we reach your goals.
New and existing patients are welcome to book with Winter Danforth Osteopathic Manual Practitioner and Dr. Megan Arlidge our Chiropractor! As well as Tammy McMillan TCM and Registered Acupuncturist
Acupuncture is a modality where the practitioner inserts very thin needles into specific points in the muscle. Its is designed to relieve muscle pain and tension. Acupuncture is not painful and can be very effective in relieving pain in the body. Book your appointment with Dr. Arlidge and Dr. White and see the bennefits for yourself!
Hot Stone Massage is the use of basalt stones that have been smoothed and polished which are then heated and used to massage with and place on the body. Many patients have found it eases muscle tension, as well as provides a feeling of deep relaxation. Book your appointment with Miranda Carley, RMT or Katherine Howard, RMT (existing patients only)
Cupping Therapy uses a cup to pull an area of skin into a suction that decompresses muscles and connective tissue. This promotes blood flow to the compromised area, enhances circulation and helps to increase the body’s own healing processes — almost like a backward deep tissue massage! Your RMT may recommend and add to your massage. Or just ask us!
